1 chocolate chip cookie mix + ingredients on back (mine required 1 egg and a stick of softened butter!)
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup peanut butter (I used super chunk, but feel free to use your fave!)
1/2 cup m&m’s
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Preheat the oven according to cookie mix directions.
Place the cup of oats in a blender/food processor and run it for about 10 seconds or until oats reach desired size.
In a large bowl/stand mixer combine the cookie mix, required ingredients (i.e. egg & butter), oats, peanut butter, m&m’s, and additional chocolate chips. (tip: if your cookie mix calls for softened butter DON’T skip this step – that’s what brings moisture into the dough, make sure its softened well!)
Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet (or silpat mat/parchment paper!) and leave as a ball or flatten to desired shape.
Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes.
for cookie pie: put the dough in a pie dish and bake for approximately 20 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream!
