For someone who doesn't care about the actual superbowl, I know I've been talking about it ALOT lately. but that's really because I loveeee friends! and I love food! and I love the event. but also, I LOVE the idea of this superbowl bingo and will definitely be printing it out!
my first week of half marathon training is over! for those of you interested here are the stats i'm tracking in my running calendar: 1 week of half marathon training – 16 miles | January 2016 – 31.19 miles | longest consecutive run – 4 miles
i'm thinking about starting a whole30 the day after the superbowl! would you guys be interested in hearing about it again? or do you care more about getting the recipes? what are you thoughts?

back off winter. i'm drinking my cold fighting smoothie over here and it's WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS and its KEEPING AWAY THE SICKNESSSSS with NUTRIENTS.

today was a marathon recipe shoot! i've got FIVE awesome recipes queued up for you guys. get excited. i just wanna share them all nowwww. would you rather see dessert or a cold-fighting breakfast first? tell me, tell me!
i finally finalized my superbowl menu and i'm SOOOoo excited for all the food! someone else has buffalo chicken dip as their specialty, so instead of making my own i'm taking shredded chicken and making buff chix wontons!
i went on a run on Friday and it felt SO good. i was so happy to be doing it… then we get hit with ALL the snow, which means i can't run home from work like i'll want to… i might still pack up some gear and walk home.
i really need to start warming up before i work out. its such a little thing that makes all the difference.
P.S. i love this breakdown about losing weight for all you new years' resolutioners!
frankie and i ordered pizza and stayed inside the warmth of our apartment throughout Jonas yesterday. it was super nice to finally have some snow. but i'm already ready for it to be gone. trying to march around in my hunter boots isn't the easiest.
TV – i've been BINGEING on vanderpump rules. is that gross? i don't care. i watch it when i'm in the kitchen cooking or doing the dishes. it makes the time go by. also, i started up on game of thrones again! i never caught up in season 4 so i'm back at it.
on Friday frankie and i met up with his parents and brother downtown and went to dinner and then 230 fifth for their rooftop bar/hot chocolate. ugh now i'm DYING to recreate their triple dark hot chocolate. yesssss. (and yes, we wore the snuggies… obvi)
do any of you use a chemex? my coffee always comes out watery. i think i need to grind it further? i get worried it'll be too fine. maybe i need to suck it up. sighhh.
